Imperial Oil introduces newly reformulated Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40.
Exceeds requirements for API CJ-4 diesel engine oil specification

Imperial Oil today announced a significant change to its Mobil Delvac 1300
Super 15W-40 heavy duty engine oil which will help extend the life of new and
older engines, as well as new emissions after-treatment systems.
Imperial Oil will introduce the newly reformulated version of Mobil Delvac
1300 Super 15W-40 heavy duty engine oil in October 2006. The new formulation
meets the American Petroleum Institute’s API CJ-4 diesel engine oil
specification, which encompasses the new requirements for Proposed Category 10
(PC-10).
The new formulation of Mobil Delvac 1300 Super
15W-40 will exceed category requirements for soot control, wear protection,
oil consumption and deposit control. It will be backwards compatible and meet
the requirements of API CI-4 and CI-4 PLUS and will help to extend the life of
engines as well as new emissions after-treatment devices. The new formulation
of Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 is designed to meet the requirements of
Caterpillar ECF-3, Cummins, CES 20081, Detroit Diesel Power Guard 93K214,
Volvo VDS-4 and Mack EO-O Premium Plus.

Environmental Protection Agency emission regulations for heavy duty vehicles
taking effect in 2007, diesel engine oil performance requirements will become

performance in the North American marketplace.”

market as a cutting-edge CJ-4 product for 2007 engines using after-treatment
devices. With reformulated Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40, our fleet and
owner/operator customers will have the peace of mind that they will be able to
at least maintain current drain intervals for older engines using diesel fuel
with either 15 ppm or 500 ppm (parts-per-million) sulfur content.”
