Our sponsorship focus
Imperial's sponsorships activities are focused on hockey, kids and the community.
- Hockey - It's part of our Canadian heritage, and it gives us a sense of national pride. Esso has been a proud sponsor of hockey at all levels for over 70 years. Our goal at Imperial is to make the words Esso and hockey synonymous.
- Kids - At Esso we believe it is important to support hockey development programs for kids at the community level. We are a proud sponsor of numerous minor hockey programs for kids, such as the Esso Fun Days, the Esso Street Buds, the Learn, Respect, Fun (LRF) program and the T.E.A.M. Hockey Country program.
- Community - Our initiatives at the community level are spearheaded by your neighborhood Esso-branded retailer and associate. If you ever took part in grassroots or youth hockey, you may have been awarded one of our Esso Medals and Certificates of Achievement or received team jerseys through the Esso Extra Hockey Jersey Program. Our aim is not just to build champions on ice, but champions in life.
